All I want...

Chillin' on a cool Sunday night here in TO. Less than two weeks left in my stay here in the "Centre of the Universe."

Crazy to look back and think of how quickly it has all come and gone. 

I'm at a point where I really wish I could stay here longer. As much as I love Alberta and how great B.C. has been to me, something about the big city has just made for a real nice change of pace. 

I used to go about my days in Calgary, Edmonton and Kamloops, respectively, always wishing that I could slow down. What's the point to living life at a pace where you can't enjoy all the small things about it? I've tried a lot over the years to slow things down and enjoy every moment for what it is. In some ways I've succeeded, but nothing is perfect and therefore you always have room for improvement. 

My first concern coming here was that I would very quickly fall into the same frantic pace that I imagined the people here would be rushing around in. The exact opposite happened. I've found it so comical how quickly people run around like chickens with their heads cut off, that I've actually slowed things down more than when I was living back out west.

It's funny how you learn things.

I definitely feel like I've learned a lot out here and I hope that these next two weeks will be no different. 

After that, it's off on a new adventure. It won't be like this one, but it will be something new.
